The Iowa Digital Newspaper Project is supported by an advisory committee of archivists, educators, genealogists, librarians, scholars, and history enthusiasts that select the newspapers to be digitized. The committee makes these selections based on historical, geographical, and chronological significance, while aiming to achieve a wide geographic representation across the state and highlight a diversity of editorial opinion.
